Fundraising events are essential to helping PSV provide financial assistance for medical care for animals in need.
Every dollar raised directly supports the lives of the animals. Our fundraising events also create opportunities for
local businesses, volunteers, and community members to become involved in our mission. Participants enjoy fun,
family-friendly activities that celebrate our mutual love of animals.These events strengthen our community and ensure
that more animals receive the care they deserve.

Adoption

Adoption events provide families with the opportunity to meet loving dogs and cats who are searching
for their forever homes. Held at pet-friendly businesses throughout Macon County, these gatherings allow
potential adopters to interact with animals in a relaxed environment while learning about their personalities,
care needs, and adoption process. Each successful adoption gives an animal a fresh start and opens space at
a shelter for another rescue in need. Beyond finding homes for animals, adoption events help educate the public
about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the lifelong commitment
of caring for a pet. Volunteers are available to answer questions, provide guidance, and help match each family
with the right companion. By connecting people with pets that fit their lifestyles, adoption events create lasting
relationships that benefit both animals and their new families.
