Every Animal Deserves a Life Filled with Safety, Compassion and Love
Pawsitive Shelter Volunteers (PSV), is dedicated to the health and welfare of the animals in Macon County.
We provide financial assistance to low-income families for spay/neuter procedures and their pet's extreme medical needs.
Pawsitive Shelter Volunteers, a 501(c)3 organization, in operation since 2022, was created to help
augment Macon County Animal Services' budget, in providing additional food and medical
care, through fundraising events and donations. Since our inception, we have expanded our reach
beyond Macon County Animal Services to include ALL of Macon County.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help control pet overpopulation with spay/neuter programs, reduce the number of hungry
and homeless animals, and aid families in keeping their pets at home. We work tirelessly to give animals
a second chance while inspiring kindness and compassion throughout our community. We partner with
volunteers, local organizations, and supporters who share our vision of a world where no animal is left behind.
